can I please ask for the OA, when you say health insurance, does this mean travel insurance, not the health insurance I keep current in Australia?

Also if applying in Australia and I have tickets for a 6 month stay, is 6 months insurance adequate or do I need it for the full year visa?

Another one. Do need to show current insurance on every entry to Thailand and every time I apply for an extension?

Last one, can you apply for this OA visa when in Thailand on a VOA.

You shouldn’t have any problem, most travellers leave and enter many times while on a trip of the region. I don’t think Thai immigration gives a rats to be honest.

same happened to us up in the Daintree in QLD Australia. Place was closed down.Agoda were no help at the time whatsoever.

We are facing almost exact same situation and and timeline. But coming from Australia.Not sure either exact dates going into Lao which is the problem. Worst case buy the ticket in the airport checking line if you are refused by airline.Good luck.
