Hello Everyone,

Good day!

I have a quick question regarding the visa exemption scheme for Indian and Kazakhstani nationals, which, as far as we know, is valid until November 11th. There's quite a bit of confusion surrounding this topic. I've even tried reaching out to the Tourism Authority of Thailand in New Delhi, but unfortunately, clarity seems hard to come by. I'm currently looking at two articles with differing information and am unsure which one to rely on.

One of the articles from Thai Embassy New Delhi says- The scheme is valid until Nov 11th 2024:

[members only]

Though they don't have any recent update on their site

Other article from Tourism authority of Thailand, New Delhi states: [members only]

Any insights would be appreciated!

Purely out of curiosity, any recent rumors about the 45-day being extended?

We have a small deal on if it will or won’t 🤓

**ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

ESPECIALLY people entering visa exempt/visa waiver <-(on the free entry stamp that is 45 days now ;) ) **

At this time <- meaning as of right now, there has been NO official announcement about the continuing of the 45 day visa exempt/visa waiver entry program.

This means March 31st is the last day the 45 day entry program is in effect and come April 1st it will go back to 30 day visa exempt/visa waiver entry.

The TAT <- Tourism Authority of Thailand PROPOSED to the government that the program continue until the end of the year. That proposal has NOT been approved yet.

Watch the news to see IF they announce it

Hello, I will be arriving early April on a US passport. I was wondering is Thailand Immigration still stamping 45 days Visa exempt or did it go back to 30 days? Also, if I get a TR visa with my local Thai embassy and they're still stamping people in for 45 days will I be able to stay 75 days or will it be 60 days? Ignore second question if Visa Exempt went back to 30 days.. TIA.

Hi All, yesterday I went to apply for my Special Tourist Visa (STV) extension for another 90 days in BKK, and was told I had everything in order except for 1 document: The ASQ certificate from Department of disease control issued by the hotel you first quarantine in.

I arrived in Phuket on Oct 31st, on the first version of the sandbox program. I am double vaccinated from Canada. At the time, all you needed was to quarantine until you get your first negative test taken at the airport. I got mine within 24 hours. Then you were to free to leave your Hotel as long as you stay in phuket. I checked out on Nov 15th, but was not given this form. From what I understand, the hotel was not issuing this document at the time. I reached out to the Hotel, and they claimed they could not issue this document for me, but will look into it with immigration and see what they can do. I'm a little worried, but have some time, my current visa is valid until Jan 28th.

Question1: Am i missing something here? It feels like I'm being squeezed out due to changing requirements due to covid.

Question2: Any recommendations as to how i should proceed?

Thanks in Advance! I believe everything will work out, but the doubt is starting to creep in.
