Good morning. Coming in from the UK on the 45 day waiver and heading into Laos for a few weeks then back to Thailand for the remainder. 3 months in total. Have return tickets to UK but for February, is this OK for entry at immigration? Thanks in advance. 😎

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler from the UK is asking if having a return ticket to the UK for February is acceptable for entry into Thailand after using a 45-day visa waiver and then traveling to Laos. Comments indicate that while immigration is unlikely to check this detail, airlines may not allow boarding unless proof of onward travel is provided, preferably within the 45-day period. It is also suggested that a ticket to Laos could suffice as proof for the initial entry.
We are facing almost exact same situation and and timeline. But coming from Australia. Not sure either exact dates going into Lao which is the problem. Worst case buy the ticket in the airport checking line if you are refused by airline.Good luck.
Probably won’t be an issue with immigration, but your airline may not let you board without a ticket out within the initial days you’re allowed. I.e 45. Also some airlines may not be aware that the exempt entry is being increased so may insist on 30 days.
