for DTV as a freelancer / digital nomad, you usually need to prove your professional activity.

Since you don’t have a formal contract, you can use alternative documents like:

• Portfolio of your work (blog posts, articles, published content)

• Client emails or invoices showing your freelance work

• Any proof of consistent income from your projects

This helps the consulate see that you’re an active professional, even without a formal employment contract.

Your finances look solid. Lack of active contracts isn’t automatically a problem if you show your company is active and explain your current work/plans in a letter. 😁

Hey! I actually help with DTV visa cases from time to time — can share some guidance or what usually works best if you’d like 🙂

Your LLC setup should be fine, you’ll just need to show that you personally have access to the funds (like transfers or statements).

Happy to help if you need a few tips!

Normally, Thai authorities prefer 3–6 months of income proof.

If you have only 2 months of remote work, you can still apply if you include your savings to show you can support yourself.

** You can submit: bank statements, invoices, contracts, or proof of savings. Income does not have to be constant, but enough to cover living expenses (~50,000–80,000 THB/month).

Tip: Explain briefly that you just started freelancing and your income varies, and show your savings as backup.

No, having freelance income during a previous stay is not a problem for the DTV, as long as you didn’t openly work for local Thai clients or run a business inside Thailand. Remote income for foreign clients is allowed — that’s exactly what the DTV is for.

Just make sure your documents show that the work is done online and clients are outside Thailand.
