I already applied for the DTVvisa from france as a freelancer, but they asked for additional documents.o
I send the bank statement of 500 000 baths from september, but I didn't have them all my one french account, I had for more than 3 months 9k euros on it, but the other 6k euros where on my paypal and Revolut since I was living in Korea. Has anyone been approved showing funds split? I'm not sure it would be saffer to add a sponsor or not in this case.
Also my income is from the Platform Patreon, i'm not sure what they want me to add in the portfolio (i've send previously my analytics and following audience, the income, and the proof that the payment goes to my Paypal), They are asking for more but without much precision.
When the Canadian embassy provided proof of income, Thai immigration would not accept 40K monthly baht transferred into a Thai bank from Canada. Now that the embassy no longer provides this service, is Thai immigration now accepting Thai bank monthly transfers of 40k from Canada overseas as proof of income.
Hi everyone, I need URGENT help with my DTV visa application as an Independent Freelancer.
I just got an email asking for more documents, even though I already submitted most during the original application. Can you please guide me on these points:
1. Business License / GST – I don’t have a registered business, I work as a freelancer with monthly contracts. Should I submit my client’s LLC? Or what else can I provide?
2. Flights & Hotel – I only gave flight number + Agoda “pay later” bookings (which now expired today). Do they want an actual ticket + fresh booking?
3. Employment Contract/Certificate – I don’t have a formal certificate, only client contracts (already submitted). Should I add letterhead + client's sign as advised, or is there another way?
4. All Passport Pages – This I can submit.
From what I hear, Mumbai consulate looks for strong proof of regular income + ability to sustain yourself in Thailand.
Would really appreciate guidance from those who have gone through this 🙏
I’m very interested in applying for the new Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) but I have a question about the income/work proof part.
I don’t work for Fiverr/Upwork or any well-known online platform, and I’m not employed by a company. I run my own small e-commerce business that operates in the GCC region (cash on delivery model). My income comes directly from this business, but I don’t have a formal “work contract” with an employer.
Has anyone here successfully applied for the DTV in a similar situation?
👉 What kind of documents did you submit for the “work certificate / sponsorship letter”?
👉 Do they accept a self-declaration + proof of bank transfers or sales invoices, or do they really require a company letter?
Any advice or experience would be super helpful 🙏
I'm currently in Phuket and i plan to apply in Laos
It has been made ABSOLUTELY clear to me, by my local Thai embassy (Manila), that for one to apply for a DTV, one is required to show evidence of regular income, over and above the half a million baht in one's bank account.
Obviously, if one has a regular income, one would probably use that fact to apply as a "digital nomad", rather than under the "cultural activity" or "medical" categories, so this visa seems to be a farce!
I submitted a 6-month bank statement that I obtained from the online banking system of a bank in my country. Now, they are asking me to prove that the bank statement is legitimate. How should I prove its legitimacy? Should I just write and submit a cover letter?
Do you also experience these kinds of requests? If so, what is the best way to handle thsi
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on the appropriate way to address such a request effectively.
Has anyone done the DTV visa from Belgium as a freelancer? What additional documents could they ask for. I have gotten all the basic ones required. I have over 500,000 THB but some of it was in stocks so I’ve put them on my savings now. Should that make a problem with the 3 months thing? Also I’m a recent freelancer so don’t have any tax proof yet.
