Is it possible to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) without a registered business? I work as a freelancer and, due to being below the taxation minimum bracket in my home country, I’m not legally required to register a business.

I can provide the following supporting documentation:

• A portfolio showcasing my work.

• A client list with active contracts.

• Bank statements demonstrating regular income from clients.

Would this be sufficient for a successful application? I plan to apply in Ho Chi Minh City.

I'm little bit confused , which profession I should possese to get approved my DTV visa ?? Again, I'm owner of a IT company, I do personal freelancing job + remote worker ( multiple transaction) happen in a month.

As a trader what document are you submitting to prove digital nomad or freelance.... I am trying as a full time forex trader I don't know if we can submit our trading account statement as proof...

I have been living and working in Thailand now for 20+ years, I have a full time job with a visa, and work permit. However, I want to move to our home in the north of Thailand and teach online full-time to European students. I know I have several options for visas but do I need a work permit? And if so how can I get one if I'm not working for a Thai company and I'm working on an online platform? I was hoping the new DTV visa would solve this problem but it seems, according to others on here, that the DTV visa is only for those who are employed remotely by a foreign company.

Does anybody apply as upwork freelancers? Can you share the experience,pls?

This word that’s being thrown around ‘freelance’, someone working for themselves… does this include in-person work within Thailand aswell as online?

If I applied for the DTV visa with an online coaching portfolio and all the other stuff they need, could I then come to Thailand and ALSO do in-person personal training and be legal or would I still need to go down the work permit route.
