There is a ton of information on the internet. This is what I did ; I obtained a Non Immigrant O visa online at the Thai embassy in Canberra ACT. I was not asked for any proof of flights or accommodation. I did enter the hotel and the private residence where I would be staying and flight number. Proof of finances in your home bank. Licence for proof I'm still in Australia. Plus passport photo and passport page. Once in Thailand immigration for a resident certificate, bank to open an account. Deposit 800,000 . It hasn't been difficult, but in saying that I did a lot of research first. Knowledge is power.

So simple, to check your stamp as you go through immigration. Yet people still don't check. Might this be a lesson to all.

Very wise. Dispute many attempts at ordering food and telling them in their own language not to add sugar, up to now has been pointless.

I was thinking the same thing.

I was checked in Melbourne and was told I couldn't fly. It was fortunate that I had a Singapore flight . Problem solved. It does happen.

Once you get by this section it's fine . Like I said I almost applied for the wrong visa because of the glitches. I applied for a Non Immigrant O Visa it was simple I got my visa in 6 days. The only documents I had to supply were the passport page, Passport Photo, proof I'm in my country. I used my licence, and proof of finances. Good Luck
