Hi, when requesting proof of funds letter from Bangkok Bank, Do I need to attend the branch where the account was opened? Or will any branch provide this letter?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When requesting a proof of funds letter from Bangkok Bank, you do not necessarily need to attend the branch where your account was opened. Many users reported successfully obtaining the letter from various branches, with some stating it took only about 10 to 30 minutes. However, experiences can vary, and some branches may direct you to your home branch. If that happens, you might consider asking to have your account transferred to the branch you are at to facilitate the request.

I have been able to get the letters at different branches no problem, took me about 10 minutes at SriRacha last year.

If they insist you go to a different branch ask them to transfer your account to that branch. I think they will then change their mind and do it.

Bangkok Bank Branch north Pattaya would send you to your home branch. It depends on the Zombie in charge. Good luck!

I have managed to get a proof of funds account in various branches of Bangkok Bank, takes about 30 mins if not too busy. If you need a year statement however in my experience it takes 5 working days.
