If I entered Thailand 6 months ago Visa exempt and then got a tourist visa extension to stay an extra month. Would I encounter doing the same again in September? I hear it's at the discretion of the immigration officer. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is concerned about reapplying for a tourist visa extension in Thailand, having already entered on a visa exempt basis and extended their stay once. Responses from the community indicate that while it is generally at the discretion of the immigration officer, many believe that a pattern suggesting tourism often results in smooth processing. There are mixed opinions about the risks and procedures, with some emphasizing the importance of having proof of onward travel.
You'll have no problem. Immigration are looking for patterns of people staying in the country for too long in free entries. Your pattern suggests definite "tourist". You'll have no issues

I think You can stay no more180 days in thailand in the last year...
you must be joking. You have no idea what you’re talking about. While I have your attention maybe you should learn the basics about Thailand… one never refers to themselves as Khun.
I've done just that and was asked for Proof of Onward Travel which I always have anyway.

In my case I look out for the immigration line that moves fast meaning the officer checks quick n does not ask questions n on the other hand some officers ask too many questions n it becomes a probelm
I stayed 2 months VE, then 30 day extension. I then left Thailand and travelled in cambodia and Vietnam for 2 months. When I came back to Thailand, IO wanted to refuse me, saying I wasn't a tourist.
