The important thing is to wear a shirt, rather than a sleeveless vest, as an official licence photo is taken and vests/ shirtless are not allowed…

If you haven’t already, go online and create a GOV.UK account with password, N.I. No. etc.

I found this website portal very helpful.

Yes, maybe slightly more expensive than the other hospitals, but hey! We can’t put a price on our health! I think they are fabulous. Very efficiently run.

Supplied my paperwork & photocopies on 28th August. I was originally told their ‘head office’ would receive this, review it and un-freeze the account within 7 days. So far nothing. Went back in my branch last Thursday (18th Sept) and saw the same employee. I was told to wait another week or two, as their head office was very busy! So, currently frozen for 24 days and counting! 😔

. Different branch of BB however.

I went through the same process on 28th August, and was told within a week it would be Un-frozen after BB head office had seen all the photocopied proof and read my form.

20 days later and still frozen. I went back to my branch this morning and saw the same employee as before. I was basically told to wait another week (maybe two) because their head office worked slowly and there were a lot to process!
