Just a quick question. Will immigration accept a photo copy of the house book where I will be staying to get a certificate of residency or will I need to bring the original?..Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus from comments is that immigration offices likely require the original house book along with the owner's ID to issue a certificate of residency, as opposed to just a photocopy. Some users also highlighted that a TM30 form might be necessary for this process.

For certicate of residence my local office (prachinburi), want the owners house book and ID, its unlikey they will accept a copy on its own
I doubt they will accept either one. They want a TM30, not a house book.

Seems everyone is getting fixated on the TM30. Common knowledge that a TM 30 is needed but is the original house book required when applying for a TM30 to receive certificate of residency when living with a friend.
