is 100% correct. Just a quick add on- you also need to have health insurance. A quick search will provide the details.

I am going through the LTR WP process now. Hoping my health insurance in the U.S. satisfies the requirement as it does cover international travel. However, I pay monthly and the coverage continues until I stop paying or change insurance. So I have no way to prove the 10 month requirement. I did send my entire Summary of Benefits and Health Insurance Verification Letter. I will follow additional posts to your inquiry. Good luck! 😊

Apparently I need $50k USD health insurance for the LTR WP Visa. Just to confirm- so my Medicare Advantage Plus (Employer PPO) would not qualify for the health insurance requirement for the LTR - WP?

Mike- i am in a similar situation. I am applying for a Thailand LTR Visa that requires $50k USD health insurance. I have a Medicare Advantage plan that provides coverage for worldwide emergencies.
