How long have you known her? Do you have kids together? Why, would you do this? Honestly, unless I had a child to provide for. I wouldn't even consider loaning or really giving a 1,000,000 Baht away. And it would be past time to move on.

1. Your explanation for your callousness is nonsense. 2. Hundreds of tourists murdered. Actually, it should be stated hundreds of tourists murdered each year. This number doesn't include all the non-tourists murders in Columbia. (13,500). Tell me exactly, where in the USA hundreds of tourists are killed each year. Nowhere.

From Nov to December of 2023, 8 US citizens were murdered in Medillin alone. Just check the Colombian US Embassy Web page for warnings and advisories. Literally, hundreds of international tourists were killed across Columbia since the end of COVID. For whatever reason, it's not gotten the amount of media coverage, you would expect. I guess the thought process is, everyone knows Columbia is a dangerous country, so you are on your own when visiting there. Not on my destination list anymore.

Beware of druggings, robberies, kidnappings and murders. Besides this, it's a great vacation destination.

No he didn't. Just came in on a regular Tourist Visa or Visa Exempt. He can activate the DTV later. To be extra cautious, he can go back to Spain and re-enter on DTV.

If you are questioned on every re-entry. You must be setting off a red flag, for some reason. I've been coming for 12 years, may have been asked 3 or 4 questions total out of 20+ trips.
