I've been doing this for a couple of years, using the e-visa, for 60 days, getting an occasional extension or trip to Cambodia, when necessary for a total of 90 days. Never had a problem, since I went back to USA, for 2- 3 months or so. Recently, I got DTV, which allows for stays of 6 months.
I've stayed at Vista. It's a nice hotel. Good location, near beach and nightlife. Only thing I didn't like was the pool. Kinda small and little sunlight.
You will be denied entry eventually. My suggestions: Obtain a long term visa. Or stay outside of Thailand for several months. Don't wait to be denied entry.
Why all the stupid jokes to a legitimate question. Aren't there groups for failed wannabe comedians. You guys make it difficult to read and learn about legitimate visa issues. Admin should do a better job of screening this nonsense.
Get to stay 180 days, without hassles, cost and risks of 2 extensions and a border bounce. And with one extension or re-entry your up to 360 days. Valid for 5 years, for $400 it wasn't even a debate.
