Our son and his wife are visiting Thailand soon. They will come directly to our house. Based on what I read here we will have to report to the immigration office on arrival. Is that correct?

Hi I've made a mistake on marriage visa and dipped below 400k two weeks ago.

The agent, who is more a lawyer, said I need to leave when visa finishes (5th), without really giving me much info of what to do next.

They said 'as by immigration regulation, the 60- days Thai visit family can only be obtained only once' (which I did last year)and that I need to make sure I leave on a multi entry.

What are my options for re obtaining a visa via Thai embassy in a neighbouring country?

Here’s the document list currently requested as to get the extension of visit spouse / thai children at Bangkok (Immigration Division 1) .. , a few notable differences with what’s included on their portal or the last TVA notice dated 22/05/23 . Wishing you all a very good day

Would my wife and I need a Thai visa to stay in Thailand for 4 months a year? If so what visa would we require? We are both UK citizens.

I was planning to go do a standard 30 day extension on my soon to expire tourist visa exempt, but heard about this visiting family extension. I am here with my Thai wife, and of course visiting her family. Is this a difficult extension to get? Can we show up and talk to the agent about both options? Thanks

Hi.

My non o thai children yearly extension is expiring end of august. I will be traveling in july and august and wont be able to renew on time (45 days before). I will be back in Thailand early September. Is this my only option when i get back : 30 day stamp + apply for 3 month non o visa after 10 days in then extend for 1 year OR can i get a visiting family 60 day extension before leaving ? ( never got one on my actual visa)

Got my first 30 day extension post marriage and learned that on every entry I can now get a 30 day extension AND a 60 day family visit extension. So I can stretch a 30 day on arrival or a 60 day tourist visa an extra 90 days every entry.

That puts my time in Kingdom, just from short term visits, so long... Not sure how to word this. I was excited to move over to the marriage visa, potentially the retirement, I hadn't fully decided. But if I can stay all year on only 3 entries- I probably leave 3 times a year ANYWAY... I just wonder if doing it this way will run into the same entry challenges most people talk about.

I received a 60 day 'covid' extension, which i've now been told cancels the possibility that I can get a 60 day family visit extension? surely thats an error? how can one extension cover 2 categories?

Just a check.

Brother arrived with a marriage O, single, 90 days. E visa.

He cannot get a 30 day extension on that ?? He would get 7 days to leave the country ??

He had a 60 day family extension back in Jan 2023 bit not on this visa entry. My belief is family extensions are once a year not once per visa ??

This is Chiang Mai in case there is any regional issues.
