Luckily I was able to get a bank accou t with Kasikorn last year when they accepted ed visa. But now I think you have to come to Pattaya and pay an agent 5k to open up one with Bangkok Bank.

Listen, you cannot file a resident of certificate without all the requirements. Filing a 90 day report is one of them. Also, not everyone is as old as you. I'm sure this guy is on some kind of short term visa. All, I'm saying is that he'll have to fork over the 5k in Pattaya.

it is next to impossible for anyone to open a bank account in Bkk without anything less than a university visa. He's gonna have to come to Pattaya and fork up the 5k if he is on a tourist or student visa. A certificate of residency just means he filed his 90 day report. You gotta pay to play here.

Listen man, you're stressing over a 5k baht problem. Just go to Pattaya to open an account for 5k. All the righteous people are going to yell at me for saying why pay 5k for something that is free. Listen, nothing is free. You either pay with time, stress, or money. I'd rather pay the 5k.
