Not really a visa question but we always stay when we are in Bangkok on Rambuttri lane near the Kho San area. Now we are getting older we’d prefer somewhere else, was thinking maybe Wongwian or Silom. Any ideas please.

Bc the Thai embassy in the US is so behind processing visa apps, my fiancé will be travelling on a tourist visa and then must apply for the in country non O retirement visa upon arrival. This was the embassy’s advice. Can anyone advise the easiest, quickest and least expensive way to do this? He has all the documents and requirements. We’re in Silom and I have mobility issues. Which immigration office should we go? TIA

Flying out on the 5th can anyone recommend somewhere near Silom where I can get a RT PCR test and certificate?

Bit out of date with Bangkok and especially after pandemic. Any recommendations what area to go dinner tonight? We usually stay in Silom area and enjoy the small street restaurants there. However I reckon some is open and some isn't. Appreciate any advice and price range is not important.
