And some landlords are being pricks about providing one. Personal rule should be no completed TM 30 from landlord equals no rent from you.

What will my passport be stamped with upon arrival in Bangkok on a retirement visa, and do I need to report every 90 days?

Be prepared to show proof of income. We had to have statement from social security, copies of our investment funds amounts and IRAs, 401Ks as well as a signed lease for the rental property we owned. They all had to have original notary stamps and 2 copies.

Well at least as a retiree they cut me a little slack. Senility and all that. However they do lose patience after 2 years.
