ORIGINAL POSTERthanks anyways it seems the system differs by provinces because in the isaan province(khon kaen) immigration gives a 61 days visa in which it helps you to settle your family before exit and within this time you can make another arrangements for yourself either u get a job or try getting the baby care visa by exit and getting in again

AFAIK: the 60 day "visit family" extension (or any extension) is granted ONLY if you aren't on an overstay..
Like I said IF you are on an 8 month overstay, you have no option to clear it, you're going to be banned either when you leave or if you're caught.

If you're on the overstay and you turn yourself in (get a ticket and fly out or leave the country by a land border) you'll be banned for 3 years.
IF you get caught out inside of thailand on the overstay, jailed, taken to court and deported you will be banned for 5 years.
There is no visa or extension you can get for taking care of a baby with an overstay like that.

Overstay? Totally screwed! Turn yourself in because if they catch you it is being barred from the country at least a year.
