If you're in the UK just get the Non Imm O visa there, so much easier. No need to get a Tourist Visa.

You cant convert in Thailand or, apparently, neighbouring Countries. You really need the Non Imm O from your home Country

A 90 days Non O visa is NEVER issued as a multiple, it's a single entry visa.

It's depends on where you're applying. Agents apply at many Embassies on people's behalf but some only accept applications in person.
