I dunno how you do this if u arrive visa exempt 60 + 30 and start looking to open a bank account to season the funds. It's gonna be very tight to get it done in time.

yep agree. We stayed in Casa Asara last trip and it was OK but the kitchen wasn't great for cooking. While I am here I want to have friends come and stay and cook eat n drink in the room. Hotels are no good for that.

we booked a one bed place in a condo in Jomtien last March on Booking.com not Air B&B and it was a holiday from hell. There were so many rooms booked for the weekend that there was a huge queue for the lifts most of the afternoon. We met a frustrated resident who said it was all AirB&B bookings with mostly Chinese people at weekends. Never again. It was the holiday from hell. And notices up everywhere saying AirB&B is illegal in this building.
