Hi there. I will be arriving at Suvarnabumhi next week with a brand new Irish passport. It has a new number. Is there any problem with this? How do they pull up my travel history? Should I bring my old passport just in case? Is my name n fingerprints enough?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport with a new Irish passport is concerned about accessing their travel history and whether they should bring their old passport. Comments indicate that travel history can be retrieved using both photo and fingerprints, and bringing the old passport is unnecessary unless it contains long-term visa extensions. It is also advisable to have proof of onward travel when entering Thailand on a visa-exempt stamp, as it may be requested by airlines and immigration officials.
Yes, if you're entering Thailand on a 60-day visa-exempt stamp, you typically need to show proof of onward travel within those 60 days, such as a flight or bus ticket leaving the country. Some airlines may ask for this before boarding, and Thai immigration may also request it upon arrival. It’s a good idea to have something booked just in case.

how long have you been in thailand this year with your old passport?
u can get a multi entry tourist visa or u can do a 60+30+60 days visa exempt. If you have been in the country for over 6months (this year) you better apply for a retirement visa otherwise you might get a lot of questions at the immigration....

Yes, both your photo and fingerprints will pull up your previous history. You don't need your old passport unless you have your old long-term extension in it. If not then just your passport should be fine
