Hi there. I am in the process of gathering all the docs needed to apply for a Non O visa based on over 50. I have a Thai bank account into which I will transfer the 800000.
But the address of my bank account is not the address where I live now. Is that likely to be a problem or not? Thanks for any help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on whether having a bank account with a different address than their current residence will pose issues when applying for a Non O visa based on retirement in Thailand. Comments from other users suggest that this discrepancy is generally not a problem, as experiences vary by immigration office. Some have succeeded in their applications without questions regarding address differences.

I successfully applied for the Non O-retirement 12 month extension with my home address being different to my BKK bank address. No questions were asked. This was last month at Samut Prakan immigration office. My initial non O was obtained online.
since COVID you just can't tell anymore. I just applied for mine it used to all be done as you wait but now it takes two weeks for approval. Well that's at my immigration office?
hence the question. I think I will need to do that as part of the process. I will be living in my partners house but the account has to be in my name for the visa. Hope there isn't an issue changing it. Thanks
