When a NonO 90 day Visa (over 50) is granted, does it cancel the remaining days of the Visa Exempt entry or is it added to the end of the Visa exempt entry? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When a Non-O 90 day Visa is granted, it cancels any remaining days of the Visa Exempt entry. The new visa starts from the day it is stamped, rather than being added to the existing visa exempt period.

Normally when you apply for a non-o visa you need 15 to 21 days left on your current stamp to apply depending on where you are. Your immigration office will tell you when to return to get the visa stamped into your passport and it will start that day, not the day you apply
