I only had to get the BKK bank statement and a bank letter. I got my 12 month retirement extension. In Chiang Mai.

I think you only need a bank statement covering a 12 month period. NOT photocopies of you actual bank book.

 Yes you are correct. Takes about 5 days to get the 12 month statement. then the bank can do the letter for Immigration as well.They will know
