TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a retirement extension in Thailand, it's best to photocopy every page of your bankbook as requirements can vary by immigration office. Some offices require a full 12-month bank record or a bank statement instead of photocopies. Preparing to bring a full bankbook can avoid problems and expedite the process.

Thanks for everyone’s input. I’ll do every page. What they don’t want, they’ll return

Bye the way, if you don't update your bank book on a regular basis, your don't get a true copy of what has taken place, I know because I have done that.

Get the statement in plenty of time. Yes it does take a week. When you get it the Bank letter is done straight away. Valid for 7 days. Plan accordingly.

Get a 1 year statement from your bank. Bring your bankbook. They may want to examine it. If they want copies then they will tell you. Since you have your bankbook with you it should not be a problem to get copies same day.

Renewed mine in Phuket IO in July and they wanted a photocopy of every page of my passbook, plus a statement plus a letter from my bank verifying the balance at that date!

I only had to get the BKK bank statement and a bank letter. I got my 12 month retirement extension. In Chiang Mai.

In Samui we copied every page and had no problems with having to return with extra docs.

I think you only need a bank statement covering a 12 month period. NOT photocopies of you actual bank book.

And what was the answer when you picked up the updated list with requirements?

Or just call the Immigration office in your local area
