If I use the agent first year for non o visa in Thailand and decide to deposit 800,000 baht following year, can I renew the visa without the agent or do I need to get a fresh non-o visa (apply outside the country).
Can someone explain the monthly deposit method instead of lump sum for non-o marriage. What do I need to do to do get this done. I only have 1.5 months left on three month entry.
Hello, when I apply for the non o visa in home country and let us say I will get it in October but I will arrive in Thailand only in December. Then I do not have the time anymore to deposit the 800k in a Thai bank account to sit there for 2 months before I can apply for the extension of 1 year. How does that work?
I do have a question about the 2/3 month seasoning before and the 3 month after on 800000 baht for a retirement extension. Is the date this measured on the date you apply/receive the extension or is it the start/end date of the extension?
Hello everyone, I’m planning on applying for Thailand’s retirement Non O visa here stateside. I have a plan, let me know what you think. On arrival immediately deposit 800k bhat and at the same time start transferring additional amounts to meet the monthly of at least 65k bhat. By the time I apply for my 1st extension I will have the funds required and at least 2 maybe 3 months of deposits, so by the time it’s time for 2nd renewal I’ll have at least 13 or 14 months of deposits to show that I have met the monthly income. Ok so far right, now my question is. When can I take out the 800k bhat? Your thoughts appreciated.
I have a Non O visa. Can you spread your 800,000 deposit between two different banks ie so 400k in each?
I am trying to transit from the deposit to monthly income method for my next extension but I would like a back up if this fails for any reason ... like the Wise/ Bangkok Bank change in foreign deposit reference!
Friends, for general ease is it better to get the long-term visa in the home country? Or in Thailand itself. I don’t have any sort of monthly guaranteed income but I can satisfy that ฿800,000+ bank deposit requirement if needed. Currently, I’m home in my country. What’s a better option? Canadian
