not sure why you think visa exempt has ended. There's absolutely nothing saying that.

@Derrick *******
of course you can enter visa exempt same as before. Nothings changed.

After May 1st there is a form to fill in online with your travel info. Do it up to 3 days before landing. That's it.

@Dennis *********
why would you freak out over filling in a form. People book flights on line, buy stuff on line, but become freaked out over putting travel info on an online form.

@Peter ******
True. And if people get the visa before arriving a bank account is more easy to do.

@Mindy ****
if you are wanting a bank account you can apply for the non O in your home country and then arrive and open a bank account. After that apply for 12 month extension on retirement basis. But buying a property doesn't require Thai bank account or visa as far as I know.
Lynnette *******
Could you not apply for the visa yourself at the relevant embassy?

You're filling in a visa to enter Thailand? Can't you enter visa exempt ( no visa) for 60 days?
Lynnette *******
The "3 days" seems to confuse people. 3 is 3. It's not 4 it's not 6 or 10. It's 3. Just count backwards from day of arrival. Apply on any of those 3 days.

can you not count back 3 days from date you arrive? And apply on any of those dates.
