I own a condo in Phuket and need a simple Thai will. My UK solicitor thinks my UK will isn't enough. Has anyone used a Thai lawyer around Cherngthalay they can suggest? ( Not siam legal).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking a simple will for their condo in Phuket, as advised by a UK solicitor that their UK will is insufficient. They inquire about recommendations for a Thai lawyer in Cherngthalay, specifically excluding Siam Legal. The discussion touches on the legal requirements for a Thai will, including the necessity for court approval and the importance of having separate wills for assets in different countries. Community members suggest various legal practices and share personal experiences with will-making in Thailand.

A few weeks ago you said you had a will in 3 country including Thailand, when I posted about my German friend???
I'm not going back over old posts. A few weeks ago I arrived to sort out all of this because my lawyer said 3 separate wills are needed. USA, UK, Thai.
I have them being prepared. Because that's what I was told was needed as I have assets in all 3 countries. If no assets in Thailand ( or USA) then UK will would be sufficient to leave UK assets to anyone no matter where they live. The Thai one has hit a problem because of the condo.
and please keep in mind: in the case of your demise, opening your Thai Last Will is not enough. Every Thai Last will must first get approved by a court order. This might take up to six months! Make sure your beneficiary and the executor are aware of this
I did my Thai Last Will using this template. I changed the text into my own wording, listing all my assets in Thailand, naming the beneficiary (my Girlfriend) and naming the executor. Then I had my English text translated into Thai by a translator who is acknowledged by my embassy in Thailand. Then I, two witnesses and the beneficiary, we took three copies of the Last Will to the local Amphur, had each page read out aloud, signed by everybody, and had signed & stamped every page by the Amphur headman. He told me that the Thai translation was perfect and on the spot! He then put one copy in an envelope and sealed it, this one stays with the Amphur. The other two copies my GF and me took home.
Just make it, sign it, video it bring made photo yourself holding it. Keep copies or pass copies to relevant people. That's a Thai will or do the same with witnesses that's a legal Thai will. At least that's the law now. In era of deep fakes who is safe?
