Did mine the other day very easy, didn't ask for it at immigration yesterday. Very quick at BKK immigration. We saw people that were sent back to the screens who hadn't done it.

Biggest problem is people are lazy they wait to get to the airport and causing long delays at customs customs need to make a line just for theses lazy people

it clearly states "within the 3 days of arriving". It's not hard to count back 3 days surely. 3-2-1 arrival!( Edited the word "within" which my phone persists in changing )
