After trying and getting rejected once for not uploading hotel booking, which I did of course, I tried with a gmail email and applied through Google Chrome. I got the QR Code within 24 hours.

of course and you should but you can do it when ever and not necessarily to fit a requirement. Plus some may have policies that cover them from outside Thailand

Of course if you are married to a Thai national, the spouse O visa is a great alternative, no insurance and only 400,000 Baht in a Thai bank

My Aussie passport is 9 digits. I added 4 spaces at the end. Strange my wife said her Thai passport is 9 digits too???

4 spaces after my passport numbers worked for me

Doesn’t seem to be browser type issues, it’s server side so it’s the Thai Pass website with the issues

yes that’s why I mentioned “onward tickets” the problem would be if uploaded at least 7 days before the flight, the onward travel ticket would not last long enough as they say only good for a few days. Could get another one for the actual departure day but the details would be different!

as the Thailand Pass app isn’t available yet are you sure you’ll need to have an outbound flight or return flight to upload? I’m hoping to come in visa exempt too and then apply for an O visa in Thailand. A short term, onward travel ticket won’t work if you’re correct as they are only good for a few days so I’d have to actually book a ticket out somewhere
