Someone suggested getting a COE (certicate of entry) before leaving Thailand if planning to return. Never heard of it. Iโm flying to Australia on Sunday and will be trying to get back in around August. I am pretty certain I can as I am legally married to a Thai and have (or will have) the necessary documents as required by the Thai Embassy in Australia. Any thoughts on this?

Responses clarified that a COE cannot be obtained before leaving Thailand and emphasized that the required documentation will depend on their specific visa situation and return arrangements, including potential quarantine measures and booking flight and accommodation. While guidance was provided regarding necessary permits, the user expressed confidence in handling their plans.
