TLDR : Answer Summary
A user currently on a Non-O visa, which is valid for 90 days due to their marriage to a Thai spouse, inquired about the appropriate timing to apply for a visa extension. Commenters advised that it's possible to apply for a one-year extension anytime within 45 days of the current visa's expiration, making a two-week advance application reasonable.

You can apply for a new 1-year extension anytime when you have 45 days or less with your current stamp at CW. So you can apply for one anytime now. Two weeks sounds reasonable to me.
