Has anyone flown into Thailand since the crackdown on border runs? Looking to get some information straight from the horses mouth.

There appears to be conflicting information available regarding the number of visa exemptions that can be obtained per year through land borders and air travel into the country.

For example my case, I flew from my home country to Thailand and received a visa exemption which I extended 30 days. Then I did my first ever land border run to Malaysia. So that's my 2 visa-exempt stamps. Booked my flight back home in advance (roughly 1 month from today), anticipating an extension but then this crackdown began.

Is it worth flying to KL and back into Thailand, hoping that they will be more lenient on flights, or just lose my bookings, call it a day and head home?

Hi I have a question which maybe someone can help me with. I have a UK passport and arrived by air from UK to Thailand and was given a 30 day visa. I went to a Thai immigration office and extended it for another 30 days while in Phuket. I have since left Thailand for 2 weeks in which time the visa expired . I am now in Laos and want return for one final visit. I plan to fly to BKK and onto Chiang Mai. Can I get another 30 day visa on arrival.

Thanks for any help with this.

Hi, just confirming that if you enter (for the first time) via airplane on a visa waiver 30 days, you don't need TM6 for the 30 day extension?

Is it OK to fly into Thailand with an antigen (or PCR) test obtained from country A, checking in for the flight from country B (after a 24 hour stopover), provided the results are within 72 hours of the flight departure to Bangkok? I assume yes, but wanted confirmation.

Just as an example here, say I were to fly from Australia to Vietnam with a test result issued in Australia, then spend one night in Vietnam and then fly onto Thailand?

Hi. I booked a flight to arrive in Thailand for 37 days. Thinking I could get a visa the old way. Now it’s an EVisa and I am struggling with uploading and downloading things on my I pad. I’ve asked travel agents too apply for me but they can’t help.

My question is can I come too Thailand without visa for 30 days and then extend it for 1900 baht.

Or will I be refused at airport for not having visa because of air ticket. I would appreciate help please as my head feels like it’s going too explode with computers. Thank you

Hello everyone, I am a little bit confused about my COE. I should be flying CDG-DOH-BKK at the end of the month. There is a field named "1st transit flight". Does this mean my flight CDG-DOH or a further flight leaving BKK (which I don't have because I am staying in Bangkok) ? Thanks for any help.

If I fly to Penang, Malaysia and fly back the next day, even though I have reached my land two crossings tourist stamps this year I can still get a stamp in as it’s by air? and the 2 limit per calander year is by land only? Also can I fly there and back in one day or do I need to stay at least one night? Thanks all
