Would like some clarification please. Got here on Visa Exempt and will apply for O 90 day Spouse visa in Bangkok . I have 400k in my Thai bank already.

Is it the same requirements as the extension or less for the 90 day? I’m wondering if I need everything including the Kor Ror 22 (still married), bank statement, photos at house etc etc ???

I know I need everything for the extension, it’s the Initial O visa 90 day I’m asking about.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the O 90-day Spouse visa in Bangkok, the requirements may be similar to those for a one-year extension. Essential documents include the TM30 form, a lease agreement, your spouse's ID, house registration book, proof of marriage, and a recent bank letter. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 15 days remaining on your current visa when applying.

,

This is the file from the Bangkok immigration office. Again, I cannot guarantee this file is the latest, but at least you can use it as one of the references.

Okay here is the document from Chaengwattana BUT I don't know how current it is. At least this will give you an idea

You need the TM30, your lease, your wifes i/d, your wifes house book listing, the proof of marriage documents, a bank letter dated no more than 7 days and update your bank book on the date you apply.

You also need to have a minimum of 15 days left on your current stamp to apply at Chaengwattana Section C-1 <- the section that issues in country Non-immigrant visas there.

thanks. Was hoping save a trip out just to ask. Do you know if I’d need to make an appointment for CW Immigration or just rock up?

I've seen more than my fair share of people "hoping to avoid a trip out" end up making 2 or 3 trips there once they started applying because their documentation wasn't what it needed to be. 🙁

Good luck with it, take everything but the kitchen sink and hope for the best

nope, just show up. AND Section C-1 is never all that busy. I'd say showing up at 10 or so is fine, no need to get there at the crack of dawn

Works like this; you will apply for the Non-O visa, pay the 2000baht, and they will stamp on your receipt the day you come back with your passport (14 days from the date you apply) to get the Non-O visa and new 90 day stamp inked in.

thanks again. We’ve planned to take everything and see if we can fluke it straight off. It not, it’s another trip anyway.

If I get a list, I’ll post it here for others which I think there’s many. A few Oz guys on my flights were doing the same thing.

as far as I know you don't need photos but they might have you draw a map.

To be completely honest the best advice anyone can give you (so you're sure you can pull it off in one trip when you apply) is to slog on out to Chaengwattana Section C-1 2 with your thai wife and get the hand out listing the requirements to apply for the in country 90 day Non-O

I approved commenting because I'm not sure what the answer is 🙁 I'll let those who have experience answer. It's safe assuming that it's the same as a one year extension of stay, but I'm not sure honestly.
