Thai immigration like any Government Security forces use Biometrics so a name change makes absolutely no difference at all.

Some people must think the Thai authorities are a simple touch 🤣🤣

Get a local visa agency to guide you through the process

I understand you have the relevant documentation but it’s clear you are getting more confused as time goes along

The process wil be simpler for an agency to obtain the visa for you.

it usually is the same requirement is just a different cost for the application but things change quickly with Thai immigration so you could be right 👍

yes definitely however, if your not sure about some of the questions just input your Passport number to bypass the irrelevant questions that worked for me on a few questions that I could not answer and if they need additional information they will email you and let you know.

I think a lot of the requirements are not for Tourist Visas but it is a standardised piece of documentation lol good luck 🙏

Unlike the Tourist Visa I received in April from the UK Thai Embassy it requires no proof of funds and took 3 days to get it.

Very easy to apply and uncomplicated only question I would ask is “You sure the application you are submitting is T/R and not Non “O” visa ?

Are you aware of the amount required to apply for a retirement visa?
