Heyho dear avid travel friends! Seeking help with proof of funds. What is accepted?

I would like to apply for the Thai Tourist Visa multiple entry. (I am from Germany) The requirement is:

"you must upload bank statements with at least 5,000.00 EUR balance per month end for the last 6 months."

Does anyone have experience with whether one bank/broker statement per quarter is also accepted? ("trade republic" and "nextmarkets" only offer quarterly account statements).

Balance could be tracked through the transactions, but is not a classic monthly checking account statement. I have that too, but there the amount falls in some months below 5000 euros.

I would really appreciate any kind of help or idea. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the requirements for proof of funds to apply for the Thai Tourist Visa (multiple entry) as a German citizen, specifically asking if quarterly bank statements are acceptable given the need for a monthly balance of 5,000 EUR over the last six months. Responses include suggestions to obtain monthly balance summary letters from banks and a note on differences in visa application requirements based on the applicant's country.

Just go to your bank, and get a monthly balance summary letter for the last six months. It's pretty easy to do, or call them and have it mailed to you.

Unlike the Tourist Visa I received in April from the UK Thai Embassy it requires no proof of funds and took 3 days to get it.

Very easy to apply and uncomplicated only question I would ask is “You sure the application you are submitting is T/R and not Non “O” visa ?

Always remember when dealing with Thai Immigration if they need more information they will email you but generally they just want an easy life and let little things pass by - make more sense when you think about it

Have a good one in Thailand 🙏

That particular requirement is for the Non O visa but unfortunately it comes up on the Tourist Visa form, most people simply input their passport number and it moves on to the next question- I know that is 100% correct because I did exactly that 👍

didn't for me mate

Well if you did try that method I would not disagree with you but personally I know lots of UK citizens who did that not just in that question but many other questions

The system lets you move on to the next question automatically it’s only if you blank it it remains on that question

Anyways good luck it seems like with your luck “You might just need it” 🤔

Pretty sure. It seems it's easier from UK? Single entry Tourist Visa is easy. Multiple not so much.

yes definitely however, if your not sure about some of the questions just input your Passport number to bypass the irrelevant questions that worked for me on a few questions that I could not answer and if they need additional information they will email you and let you know.

I think a lot of the requirements are not for Tourist Visas but it is a standardised piece of documentation lol good luck 🙏

Was meinst du mit Re entry?

@Lars **************

@Lars **************

it usually is the same requirement is just a different cost for the application but things change quickly with Thai immigration so you could be right 👍
