if it seems too good to be true as a way of getting around immigration requirements then it is. If discovered, you could be deported and banned. They cracked down on some agents and those who used them last year. They will be cracking down on corruption more. Just follow the requirements and do it yourself, it isn’t difficult to do yourself.

The rental contract should have had a copy of the house book and a copy of the owner’s ID card or passport. Making sure the house book is from the house you are actually leasing and occupying.

buy a Thailand Elite visa. No insurance required. Medical services are reasonable here.

American tools and appliances are 110v Thailand uses 220v. UK uses 220v also.

we have two Elite visas. One for each of us, so neither one of us are dependent on the other one’s visa. If something happens to one of us, the other person’s visa is not cancelled. There are many benefits to the Elite visa. I definitely recommend you each have your own separate visa for each of you whatever visa you decide on.
