did you exclude the weekends?

Anonymous participant we are Canadian too and have here and there, having been here in Thailand in and out for a few years prior to dtv. We went to CHMC to apply for our dtv and hubby got approved and mena few days later after reentering Thailand. So it's not complicated it's just a bit confusing on what to declare as your permanent address..for us since still have.properties in Canada we just used one that is in our drivers license and put in HCMC hotel as current location.

A proper address is where you can prove with bills as far as I know..and stated in your ID like drivers license or social security

It was my issue because I have 2 words in my first name and no middle name in my passport , so to be exactly the same the first part my name is the first name and second part became my middle name them last name. I wonder if you filled in the form in the usual American way with your last name last..or did it Korean way?

With all this documents, money not an issue, but I would rather fly out and reenter..I'm not.good at dealing with foreign immigration rules and officers Bec I am not sure what they have in mind. Although we can say the same for when we do border bounce..hoping not!

So ii got mine issued after I reentered Thailand from HCMC..can I just go anywhere then as a border run such as Laos closer to Chiangmai instead of making the trip back to Vietnam?

I would say some can be lucky like me who travelled back to Thailand while dtv is still pending..so now that it's issued, I just need to fly out and reenter to activate it. In my opinion as long as the last status is pending approval it is almost certain as opposed to pending doc review, then waiting is the key Bec they might really ask for more docs so better to stay put..
