You are the one who is wrong !

There are 3 requirements, when you enter Thailand as a tourist.

Onward Ticket out of Thailand,

Proof of accommodation in Thailand, within the visa scheme validity.

Financial evidence: 20.000 in cash.

The Immigration can ask you to show that on arrival, but only do it some times, so OP is right.

Read the visa section of any Thai Embassy website thoroughly and you will find it.

When you are submitting the data to a governmental organization, which must be about the safest place to send the full statement without editing.

If editing there is risk of rejection, loosing 10.000+ Baht, og need to send the statement as additional document, which lead to a longer visa process.
Henrik *****
Always start by checking which visa options available on the Thai Embassy website, and THEN plan how long you can actually can stay.

Do things the other way around can be costly and difficult.

It is the machine readable text field at the bottom of the picture page of the passport, that isn’t clear enough.

In Thailand a decision is final, when the officer has made the decision, it is not up to debate, so you will not gain anything by asking why, since that may make the officer “loose face”

Just read all the previous posts about bankaccounts and DTV.

No need to ask the same questions again and again, instead of reading what’s allready has been answered.

It’s simple, read the website of the Thai Embassy you will use.

Search this group for that specific Embassy.

Fill out the application at
***********************

(where you also find a user manual on top.)

You can pause the application at any point, if you need to further investigate something or get more documents.

Apply from another country than Thailand, and stay in that country until the application is processed and visa granted/ rejected.

Take control of your life, do the application yourself, as it is meant to be done.

If you can’t do it yourself, you are not worthy of getting that visa.

No visa agent can go to another country for you, and stay there until the visa is approved/ rejected.

Read the Thai Embassy website thoroughly before applying.

Search the group for the individual Thai Embassies under consideration, then you will find loads of answers to those questions.
