Hi, I'm a U.S. citizen with a Visa Exemption. I'm currently applying for my extension through the VFS website, and in the 'Current Visa Category' section, I selected 'Exemption Visa.' However, when I go to the 'Current Visa Sub Category' dropdown, there's no option for the 60-day exemption that’s listed on my passport. Can anyone guide me through this? Thanks in advance

A U.S. citizen living in Thailand on a retirement visa & going back to the states for a week. Got a re-entry permit. Is there anything required state-side as far as visa, etc. to get in & back out in a week?

Hello all. I am looking for information on a future visa. I am a U.S. citizen and am planning on retiring in Thailand in the next 3 years. I am currently 62 years old. I keep hearing that I need to apply for my visa in my home country. My issue is I am working on South Korea, have been here over 22 years. Can I apply at the U.S. Embassy here in South Korea?

Hello everyone,

I am a U.S. citizen, my wife is Thai. We have a flight booked to Thailand arriving in Bangkok on January 2nd 2022. Our return trip is scheduled to leave Thailand on May 18th 2022. In previous years when we went to Thailand I purchased a 60 day Tourist Visa then got a 30 day extension and sometimes made a visa run to get more time. This year I would like to purchase a 90 day single entry Non O visa because I have a Thai wife. Then get the 12 month extension of stay while in Thailand and get a re entry permit before we leave. Then when we go to Thailand again in December 2022 the extension would still be valid. So I would not need to get a new Visa to travel to Thailand next year. Is this a viable plan? Or am I missing something?

Sorry for the lengthy question.

Thank you so much for all your great advice.

Am I able to apply for a 60-day tourist visa while on vacation in Europe? I’d like to go to Thailand in August or September but don’t want to enter on a 30-day on-arrival, and will not be going back to the States. (U.S. citizen currently in Germany)
