A couple years ago I sent my Pp to RTC in LA from Las Vegas for a visa. I called to ask about a slight mix up and the official exceedingly I spoke with was helpful and I even got a follow up call from him. Very good experience.

yes I know what the date is, but as I said someone spoke as if it were a hard deadline and going on the date was not advisable. This is the first I've heard that I can go AFTER the Return On date.

Ok great, thanks. However I read here that it was not advisable to go on the deadline date itself, so I'm asking how many days before would be good. But no, I was not planning on going after the indicated date, as that would be past my specific deadline.

If my close-the-loop date is 15 Oct, how many days prior is it advised to go? And, if that only gets me until Oct 27, can I go with another embassy letter and apply for further 30 extension on the same trip to CW?
