Can anyone tell me what time in the morning the queue starts forming at CW immigration? I usually get there at 8 or so and it's already crowded. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The queue at Chaengwattana Immigration (CW) typically starts forming as early as 5:00 AM, with some individuals suggesting arriving between 5:30 to 6:30 AM to secure a good position in the line. It's advisable to make an online appointment if possible, which can bypass the long wait times associated with arriving without one.

@Ch***
how about stating WHY you're going to Chaengwattana and then people could tell you IF you can book an appointment for what you're doing or not?

About 530-6am

I usually go at 630 - as they hand out numbers - don’t know if they still do.. so I get into the first 100 .. from there they go into the counter where the segregation of different visa queue numbers are given .. hope it’s still the same now - I go yearly for my kids student visa

I renewed my retirement extension there last December. I took Tod Daniels advice and made an on line appointment, ( very easy to do). It was on time and everything went smoothly, can’t imagine just turning up now and waiting most of the day to be seen. Or, waiting in a long line from 6-7am waiting for the place open.

Really? We made one for ours back in November. Maybe it's changed now, but it was a vast improvement. Processed our whole family's extensions within an hour of the appointment.
