not about phone #. I have had an account with Bangkok Bank for almost a year. Today they called me in and locked the account. They said it was because I originally opened the account with a tourist visa. ( have had a retirement visa for over 9 months), I am supposed to hear more in 3-5 working days, but uncool they originally asked me to open with tourist visa, and now my money is frozen.

yes, you can send both ways (baht or dollars) via the

app. As an example, today’s exchange rate is 34.21, and BofA shows at 33.32 ( which the app will show). If you send $500 via baht, BofA will deliver

baht. So your exchange cost via sending Thai baht is about $14.76. If you send $5000 via baht, then your exchange cost is about $130. Wire transfer of any amount (sending via dollar) is $45

which will usually cost quite a bit in currency conversion charges. BofA does not offer “free” money transfers out of the goodness of their heart.
