I came here on an “O” visa. Try SCB, Bangkok Bank & KrungThai.

Tried multiple times at each wit a no go.

My last attempt my girlfriend came with me to KrungThai.

They still didn’t like me until she told them I was her husband. Bing, bam, boom account opened.

Agreed, as much as the Thai Government threatens to Huff and Puff and Blow the house down - it’s never gonna change.

Besides people leaving, think of all the people out of work.

They would really shutdown the entire Visa agent business - I doubt it.

watching some Facebook group I’ve seen guys mentioning they transfer money in to Thailand 3 months before their renewal then once approved transfer back out of Thailand until next approval cycle.

With the continued uncertainty nobody wants to have a Thailand a store of money.
