I have just completed a visa run at Pedang Besar in the south of Thailand.

I have returned on my multiple entry Non-O visa. I am on the bus and maybe 1 hour away and I have noticed they have only stamped me in for 60 days and not 90 days.

It was silly of me not to check. Last time I noticed but today my mind was somewhere else.

Will I be able to get the stamp changed at another immigration office in Nakhon Si Thammarat or Phuket or โ€œit is what it isโ€ ?

Many thanks.

I am an American here on a retirement visa that expires in July, Nakhon Si Thammarat. I used the lump sum method to get it, but I want to switch to a marriage visa based on monthly income. However, my proof of monthly income for one year will not be satisfied until November (I actually started getting it in July but they paid a lump sum for four months in November. From my understanding they will not accept this as proof of monthly income starting in July?). I plan to go back to the US in the spring and stay until September, so my visa will expire while I am out of the country. My question is, should I enter on a tourist visa, stay until November, and then apply for the marriage visa based on monthly income? ๏ฟผ

Are you able to apply in a different province to where you live?

Because we finally got all of my husband's documents together for his Non O as specified in this [[members only]) , as well as all the other documents our local (Nakhon Si Thammarat) immigration officer wanted, yet today he said the rules have changed and my husband can not apply for a Non O in Thailand.

Said he has to leave the country and apply at foreign Thai consulate. Is this true?

This officer has been changing the list of documents he wants for months.

I'm currently on visa extension based on employment. My extension is expiring on 30th April. I'm not planning to extend my contract with current employer.

I'm planning to sign an employment contract with new employer on Monday, 2nd May (1st May is Sunday).

I'm married to a Thai and have also half Thai children. Can I use "visiting Thai family extension" to cover the 1 day which I would be in Thailand without visa? After my work permit with new employer is ready. Can I then switch back from "visiting Thai family" to extension based on employment?

EDIT: I would like to add one more detail. I'll be moving from Ayutthaya province to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Not sure if that can be a complication...

Thank you for your help.
