My family has moved to Thailand for over two years now. Initially, I considered showing the TM30 and rental lease, but I decided to keep it simple. I just listed my home country address as the permanent address on the visa form and used a nearby Thai hotel as the Thai address to simplify things.
Highly recommend typing "Taipei" in the search bar of this group—you’ll find a lot of useful experiences and insights. That’s what I did, and I learnt a lot from others who’ve shared their detailed experiences.
May I know what the lease agreement (for rentals in Thailand) and TM30 are used for, instead of using an address from your home country?
My family and I have been living in Thailand for the past two years with an active rental lease, but we decided to use our “permanent address” from our home country since our tax documents and business profile are all set up there. Will that cause any issues? Honestly, we do live in Thailand and plan to stay long-term with the DTV visa (applying next week).
I’m curious—and wondering if we should also present the TM30 and our lease agreement in Thailand for the application? Thank you so much for your insight!
