Is the Taipei embassy currently open for Thai visa applications?
Quick update that the Taipei embassy is open again as of Friday, 10/4. Our paperwork was submitted for review this morning. Fingers crossed!
UPDATE: Visa paid and approved today. Pickup for our passports is on Monday - so it's a two-day process. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.

Hey! Congrats. Could you provide the list of docs and which format of photo they require? Like 4x4 colour or...?

All of the requirements specific to Taipei are on their website. I believe it's a 2 x 2 passport type photo they need.Maxim *********

one very last question. Does the bank statement has to include the bank stamp or signature? My bank can only provide the statement without any stamps...David ***********
OP@Maxim ********
Mine had neither. I just printed statements from my online account.Maxim *********

Wow, congrats on the DTV for you and your wife! I’m also planning to apply for my family as dependents.Did you submit both your DTV applications on the same day, or did you apply for hers only after yours was approved? Thanks!
David ***********
OP@Xav ***
Yes, they allowed us to submit both applications at the same time.Xav ****

Congratulations! How did you apply?
I applied in Singapore with a two-week cooking course, but unfortunately, they rejected me. I'm considering doing it in Taipei next, though I'm not sure if they will accept my two-week cooking course there.
Are you bringing any dependents? We need to request a dependent visa as well.
Thank you for your help!

OPI applied via the 'digital nomad' path with my wife as a dependent. So sorry that you were rejected in Singapore. Worth a shot to try again elsewhere I would say.

How many months of banks statements did you show, is 3 months enough?

OP@Marbella ********
I showed 4, with only the most recent having a balance in excess of 500K.Marbella *********

If it's you and your wife applying together, be sure to bring the original copy of your marriage certificate. They wanted to see ours, not just copies as indicated on their website.David ***********
OP@Yuval ******
We were told the same via email but it seems like they are letting people submit simultaneously in person.
