UPDATE: Visa paid and approved today. Pickup for our passports is on Monday - so it's a two-day process. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.

I applied in Singapore with a two-week cooking course, but unfortunately, they rejected me. I'm considering doing it in Taipei next, though I'm not sure if they will accept my two-week cooking course there.
Are you bringing any dependents? We need to request a dependent visa as well.

Taipei does, there are several posts confirming this. It was always same day pick up but they are now busier and next day pick up has become the norm.David ***********

If it's you and your wife applying together, be sure to bring the original copy of your marriage certificate. They wanted to see ours, not just copies as indicated on their website.David ***********
