All of the requirements specific to Taipei are on their website. I believe it's a 2 x 2 passport type photo they need.

I applied via the 'digital nomad' path with my wife as a dependent. So sorry that you were rejected in Singapore. Worth a shot to try again elsewhere I would say.

On their first entry, I mean - i.e someone having trouble entering on a DTV for the first time and having trouble because of past, non-DTV entries? Heard of any reports of such?

Any reports of DTV holders being hassled by notoriously grumpy Bangkok immigration officers for lots of entries/a long visa history in Thailand? I would think having a DTV would necessitate easy entry but..
