Does it really have to be at least 12 months? Difficult to do since most contracts are 1 year, so if you signed the contract any day before your extension it will not be 12 months

They would not actually renege on existing legal agreements because in the Elite visa agreement it states that virtually anything can be changed. They have however not done so in the past, apart from recently cutting short upgrade options.

What visa regime in VN are you referring to? It is very difficult to get a long term visa and they only very recently reintroduced 3 months visa
